“Sinigang” by Marie Aubrey J. Villaceran

“Sinigang” discusses life, and as such, it is interesting and effectively comprehended in spite of not encountering available, knowing great that we people have sympathy, and we can notice and make our own place of perspectives dependent on what we see from individuals around us. I’m simply an understudy who may not genuinely know the behaviors that most people find acceptable, however all things considered, this story showed me that I am so fortunate to be brought into the world with a total family/It caused me to feel fought and appreciative that I have the things that many individuals expect, and thus, it pushed me to value all that I need to ensure I will not lose the ones I love.

SUMMARY

The plot revolves around Liza’s dealings with her father’s extramarital romance with Sylvia, which resulted in the birth of a boy named Lem. The action of the story took place in Liza’s house, where she and her aunt, Tita Loleng, were preparing sinigang, her father’s favorite dish.

MORAL VALUES

TRUST

Others forgiven those who had wronged them, but never trusted them again, believing it was a foolish thing to do. “Trust takes years to build, seconds to break, and eternity to repair,” as the saying goes. Gaining someone’s trust is difficult, and regaining it is even more difficult. As a result, we must handle it as if it were a very valuable and fragile glass, and take care not to break it, since if we do, it will be difficult, if not impossible, to repair. We will undoubtedly come to regret our actions. Love never endures, yet it can generally return. In the story, her dad requested that her mom cause liza to go to the memorial service, perhaps to make it the sign that it’s the ideal opportunity for her to meet and acknowledge her resting relative. In my understanding, this is about her dad actually thinking often about their family connect. It may not be the very type of affection that he had when he just had Liza as his little girl, however this is an adoration that expectations for a superior future. It caused me to feel fairly mitigated that he, notwithstanding feeling down as a result of losing his child, actually figured out how to accumulate mental fortitude and approach her little girl for compromise.

FORGIVENESS

Liza gradually learnt to live with and forgive her father after hearing the words she had hoped to hear from him. Without a doubt, they couldn’t return to the life their family had before; nonetheless, regardless of the past, it drove them to reuniting. Because she accepted his sins, Liza’s mother was the first to forgive her husband. We will eventually learn to forgive when we learn to accept reality, no matter how painful it may be. We must also forgive others, since the Lord, who is in heaven, has already forgiven our offenses. It’s not difficult to say that individuals ought to figure out how to forgive and never look back. In any case, has anybody observed on how hard was it on the impacted individual when they found out with regards to the selling out and botches submitter against him/her? Individuals ought to really feel appreciative that they were as yet approached with the deference by individuals who should feel regret about them. This is a reality that individuals neglected to see it’s difficulty to really excuse the people who trespassed, yet it’s much harder to cause yourself to feel okay and still regard them in any event, when they haven’t pondered regarding you when they trespassed.

IMPACT OF THE STORY

As a 21st-century learner, I can attest to the fact that it is a very significant lesson that I can utilize in my daily life. I must live life to the fullest and accept my own and others’ errors and mistakes. I need to put those thoughts of hatred or negativity aside if I don’t want to harm myself or others. Forgiveness is a powerful antidote. When life hits us hard, forgiveness is the most efficient way to heal deep wounds.

In addition, the story teaches me to have faith in God. We will not be disappointed if we put our faith in Him. He knows what’s best for us and has everything planned out for us.
